What about a video forum. Put home made videos and the music on a place like ifilm.com the same way we use soundclick and do battles that way as well. Thats just bringing it to the next level.

If you goto school for this stuff you have to learn it. So why not here to. Alot of us tought ourselves how to do what we do now.

Just call it artist development.
