INITIATION WEEK: If You Don't Do This, Then You Are Automatically Out
IP: 8471 8CE5
This should be extremely simple...
Text Heads: Write something to an imaginary record label, such as a business proposal, verse, or topical, on saying why you would be an asset to the company. Give valid reasons, and no, "I own shit" will not be a valid one. Come from a business stand point, name shit that the competition doesn't have. Simple. Minimum Lines: 20, or three paragraphs for the letter. Audio Heads: Do likewise as the text heads. It can be a track, or a beat with a back story behind it. Minimum Minutes: 2:00 If you do text and audio, you may chose whichever is best for you. This is due by Tuesday, 11:59 PM. NO EXCEPTIONS. NO EXTENSIONS. Post your piece in a new thread. The judges will not be giving feedback on this round. Good Luck. |

Well Considering that Rap itself isnt a Job or a talent Raping Is a gift from life, coming from the struggles and strives of a lifetime worthe of troubles. So i would say that I am a good asset to a Record label anywhere. applying the Facts that I am a persistent person and I font give up so easily. I've been blessed with this gift to rap since I was born lol. But on a serious not ive been rapping since i was bout 7/8 around that time and im 16 now and im really well known on the streets of North Carolina and i get around ive done sold out shows ( Yeah!! ) and ive done freestyle battles and if You want to see me I will be in the freestyle battle at the Henderson Convention Center In Henderson North Carolina on Friday @ 7:00 pm for $5 so come out and show your support. Ive been told that I have a original voice, and my lyrics were really well put and I have my points that get out through my music. Ive lost Freestyle battles but Lately ive won alot and ive got my name out more than I thought i would and I myself own a Record Label called Dem City Boys Recordings (DCB Inc.) and rii now were workin on the Mixtape so anybody can get down so holl at me. Rap is my life inside of my life, its one of the reason I stay in the right path, and go to school and alot of positive things I do in life come from me tryin to support my life of rapping. Rap isnt a Job, it isnt a Business, it's not a Skill, rapping is a Lifestyle.
Stanza.

Hip Hop has always been a part of my life... i think geniticly spliced in like a sample over a dope beat. Writting rhymes to pass the time... getting things off my chest before i go into cardiac arrest for holding shit in.... i mean... Rythem and poetry has always been that escape.... especialy around age 13 when massive bombs were dropped on me at home.... i dont wannna get into that shit.... but imagine you knew the man in the mirror... and then .... that man in the mirrors like "GOTCHA BITCH"... and peels off a mask revealing a totaly diffrent you. I started ingesting the green... trying to take it all in... and what i found was that creativly... and at the deepest corner of my soul... i had peace.... From the first time i indulged i began seein the world through diffrent eyes.... my mind was open.... the rhymes were flowing... shit... my mind was floating.... and as i went through the struggle...... the hustle... the constant foolish nigga that wanna knucle up... i took a licking and kept on ticking. Im not sure why after everything i been through im still standing... but i am... with massive vision.... since i was a young child people who seen me on the street would stop my parents and be like.... that kid is destined for greatness... and everytime i heard that shit.... it was like.... scary.... did they know something i didnt.... But here i am today... grinding with my family *OYD* and destined for greatness and ready to kick in the doors of Def Jam on some FUCK YOU PAY ME shit. I dont think im the best there is.... but if Pun had a son wit a gun aimed at a nun... Then i was born to run this rap shit....and if he didnt.... im still all up in that shit! feel me??? I got ambition and the drive to succed.... In my team i have a group of guys who inspire me to get on the mic everytime i hear them rhyme.... its dope... to work with cats like that... *OYD*... What me and mines could bring to the table and any lable who would bless us wit the paper to back our Business... is Real Hip-hop.... 5 elements.... a return to the roots... on some back to the basics shit.... though our styles are advanced... when i say back to the basics... i mean that "VIBE" that hip-hop had back in the early 90's... you know what im saying??? that feel good music .... that culture... that love of music and passion is what Me and mine are bringing to this game.
