Intro.

Well this was another decent showing for the VTL despite only having one no show. There was a few close battles and some pretty decent verses dropped. I still have to urge more voting, you need to be voting on atleast 4 battles. I haven enforced it yet, even though there is a rule against it. But if you guys don't pick it up this week I'll have to start deducting votes for people that dont vote, because its not fair to the people who do take their time an vote. Anyway, this has been another successful week thanks to the members in the league. An now that there is contendorship matches goin up these next few weeks should start to get interesting an its gonna become evident who wants it more.




Kirk vs Ramcees
This was alot closer than the votes may have shown. And if anything can be taken from this battle, like I said week one, Ram cannot be taken lightly. Kirk came with his usual wordplay and clever punches that have seem to got him this far already. He had some decent punches throughtout despite coming out with a weak opener. Ram on the other hand came the complete opposite, he came out strong with a funny opener an that immediately set off his verse. Although after his first few quotables, he had a few bad flips on some alright concepts. In the end, Kirk edged this one out with the consistency he brings in week in and week out.

Flight vs Format
I was on the fence on how this one was gonna turn out. Until the verses were dropped it really lived up to my expectations. Format had to post early, and his verse came of no dissapoinment despite the limited time he had. He quoted last weeks mag, an then flipped it to come out with a respectable opener. He fell off with his next two punches. However, he picked it up with his writers block line, an his sick closer. Format came in knowing what he had to beat - I expected him to come harder. Right off the back Flight took the concept Form used and flipped it on him which was a good opener imo. Then his second bar was dope, right away I thought Flight had it, but after that it seemed he really fell off. Idk if he thought his first two bars would be enough to take it or what. This was the closest battle of the week, an luckily this battle got the votes on it that it deserved. Format ended up winnin barely 3 - 2. Good battle by both.

Lay Fear vs Flash
This was kind of one sided. Due to the fact, that Flash had alot of personals that didn't land because they were false. He assumed Lay was someone else from RB an to that. His core punches missed. Lay came out with his usual swagger, had a good opening flip and came pretty consistent throughout despite one weak line. Overall it was a ok battle, and ended up Lay takin it 3 - 0.

LPMNDCTE vs Yung MEDIkated
Well what can we say, does landslide come to mind? Yung dropped verse, and seemed to open up dissing Lay instead of LP. After that he didn't even really have any decent punches at his disposal to go at LP with. LP saw what he was up against, an dropped an avg verse an took this one easilyyyyyyyy.

Satan vs JTR
This was this weeks let down. Satan bein one of the more talented heads in the league, and JTR bein one of the most respected battlers on the site. JTR talked it up, an there was alotta hype around this. J had his well known cocky attitude coming in with promises of "whoopin satan"..buildin up the inevitable no show battle. Meh, both heads are still in the league after we had a talk with J an he apologized and should come out gunnin this week with something to prove.

*Contendorship Match*
Kirk vs Format
Format's coming off what some might say is an upset, and Kirk is still riding on his 3 - 0 winnin streak thats lead him to the top of the league. He's got alot of momentum built up, an thats hard to beat. Combined with his skills an effort he puts into his verses this is gonna be a tough match up if Form dropps like he did last week. If Form works on wording his punches a lil better an uses come good concepts in this one, this is gonna be a close one down to the wire. But I think Kirk will edge this one out with his usual consistency.

Lay Fear vs LPMNDCTE
After week ones loss, Lay's been on a roll the past two weeks. With wins over two decent heads already he's lookin to make it three. His arrogant style an witty punches have carried him to where he's at. An it'll be put on display here. LP's coming off an easy win an is ready to prove he can compete in the important matches. After his win, an some losses to some good heads L's squeezed into the contendorship an he'll be lookin to prove to everyone that he belongs in it.

Ramcees vs Nitrogen
I don't really know much about Nitrogen. But I know, if he wants a chance at winning this he better come direct, and at the top of his game. Rams not one to be mettled with, an after last weeks nail biter I'm positive he's ready to elevate himself an do it to a degree where there is no question who the winner is.

Flight vs LFS
Flight has been through two close losses in a row, despite his win in week one. He's faced three good heads an this might be his week to pull through an prove he's still got his top dog status. I think Flights quite capable of droppin dope if he puts the time in, an I think he'll take this.

Flash vs Yung MEDIkated
Flash is coming off a loss none the less, but Yung hasn't proven that he's ready to compete with the heads in this league yet. I think Flash will take this if he comes with a worthy enough verse.

Satan vs Mauvais Loup
I'm hoping Satan will show this week, if he does this will actually be a pretty good battle imo. Mauv has been elevating on RB an is lookin to assert himself in a league and is eager to battle. Satan is coming off a no show, so I'm not quite sure what to expect out of him in this bout.

JTR vs BigChase
JTR no showed last week, but if he shows this week Big is gonna have some problems on his hands that I don't think he'll be able to wash off with any amount of soap. I don't really no much about Big so I'm gonna go with J takin this one.

We have gone from, there is no chance at havin a league on RV. To actually having a active league as far as battles go. We got some talent an its apparent each week everyones hungry for the wins. There's been close battles each week which makes each week even more suspenseful. You never know who's gonna come out on top.
