Rules: Double Elimination Matchups.

Both drop one punch a piece. I'll do it like this. It will be a best of 3 series. That means you have to beat your opponent 2x.

This is week one, so drop ONE punch. Next week, you will face the same opponent in a rematch. If you lose both matches, then your out. If you win both you advance. If there is a tie, then you have to face your opponent one more week in a tie breaker match.

Due Dates

Battles will be set up Mondays. Check In's due on Wednesday. Failure to check in results in a DQ (I will be watching this). Punches are due on Friday by 11:59 P.M. EST. voting ends on Sunday, 11:59 P.M. EST.

No-Shows

This is for money, so show up



Editing

The first person to drop their punch will be able to edit their punch until the second persons punch. The Second person to drop will have until the first vote is cast to edit their punch.

Feeding

If opponent agrees , then feeding is okay.

Ryan Hughes had a descent punch, but Cola really brought some umph in the punch. both had good wordplay, but Cola had better wording/delverance..

Hughes' set up for me was good but the punch itself lacked intensity.

Colas set up I feel was on par with Hughes' but the delivery was just that little bit harder in this round.

If I'm honest I'm looking forward to Round 2 between you guys I think it'll be better than this Round. I can see this going to a tie-breaker.

But for now imo it's 1-0 to Cola.

I thought hughes had a comedy factor in his punch, I first read his before cola dropped and it made me chuckle though I knew it wasn't that hard, and that it was pretty simple, but it still made me chuckle. But alas, the whole you spend too much time on the internet concept be it true or not in any battle is played out regardless if the flip is fresh or not, which in this case it was. Despite that I still thought Hughes would edge this battle out initially. After reading Cola's punch a few times I finally got it cuz I didn't at first which is why im only voting now. That shit is kinda funny, not as funny as Hughes, but it does hit harder. There's no factors that make it played out as saying someone is online too much is and it's still simple but a little more complex in my opinion

I wouldn't call this a triumphant win as I see both punches being pretty closel, with Cola edging it out

Both your set ups were terrible.

Hughes had better wordplay but his concept has been used too many fucking times and his punch was lazily put together.

Cola tried something I haven't seen before, needs rewording to really have impact, but I wasn't bored by it.
