Joey enters his bedroom after a long night of partying. The only thing he wants to do is make it do his bed and go to sleep. As he crosses the room, a strange feeling takes hold of his body. He makes it to the end of his bed and collapses.

tired as hell and my eyes didn't close, they fell
body dropped under a mysterious hypnotic spell
feels like my soul took a trip and slipped out of my skin's shell
bones are briddle and frail, but i cant tell if they broke
pain didnt feel me and i didnt feel it when it spoke
lungs didn't grasp for air, no where did i choke
where did i go?? im trapped just past the edge of reality
my dream & I are suppose to be a team, why does it battle me?
but i dont care if i lose, I want to be the casulity
no fear to frazzle me, im at peace with all that i see
the serinity is deep as I continuously fall into me
being who ive always wanted to be, my self
with no yurn for material possesions or wealth
i dont feel my body so im not concerned with health
moving with stealth, floating in my own life force
just then an image of light arrived on a white horse
focused my eyes, nothing but love shined from this bright source
felt right so i followed of course, trailed its direction
seen a woman weeping with such affection
over a body who's vital signs had no detection
i looked in the mirror but it gave no reflection back
but i didnt panic, its like i knew exactly how to act
matter of fact, happiness was all that was left in my head
heard the greivers who gathered & listened to what was said
hurt feelings of worry and sorrow flowed, many tears were shed
the vision of light vanished & left me in the place i was led
i touched his face as he laid in the spot where his last breath fled
rather than cry i remember thinking something else instead

i remember thinking
how comfortable he looked & how proud i was that he made it over to his bed

**On a side note: My best friend Joey died about 8 years ago from a drug over dose.
He made it all the way to his front door where he collapsed with his hand on the door knob.
He is where i got this from. R.I.P Joey... Love you dawg

anyway evolves just hit home with a dope verse nice flow and well told topic didnt drop off at any point .....opening ten lines were nice as fuck
