Cool edit problem (help)

i load a wav. beat in track 1 and press rec in track 2. but when i press the other rec.to record to spit...it says "device is already in use"
can someone plz help me on this ASAP |

not really sure... maybe you have some other program running thats using your soundcard...

your soundcard might not be duplex...which means its REALLY fawkin old...
also you can change the settings so that the output is direct x and the input is the actuall soundcard (check settings) .pz.
