OKAY BEFORE I GO ANY FURTHER ALOT OF YOU DON'T KNOW CHRIT AKA NATIVE AKA ADEBISI. HE GOES WAY BACK, A VETERAN TEXT BATTLER WHO WAS VERY CONTROVERSIAL IN THE DAY. HE WAS THE EMPIRE OF HIS DAY SO TO SPEAK. WELL HE'S BACK AND READY TO SHOW RV HIS SKILLS IN THE TEXT TOURNEY THAT'S GOT EVERYONE HYPED. HERE'S HIS INTERVIEW ENJOY. :thumbup:













killbill22: Today on RV Spotlight we welcome Chrit aka Native aka Adebisi, aka Rapbattles vet to the show, what's cracking?
Chrit aka EoE: Nada... just sippin on some Banana Cognac... and its either RdotC or RdotGod
killbill22: Gotcha, well for all of those who don't know who you are give them a little schooling, an official RV introduction.
Chrit aka EoE: Well... according to everyone I was the god of text battling on RB. Many say I still am..... been doing so since early '03. I'd get into everything I've done... but shiiiiiit.... That'd take awhile
killbill22: True, you were originally on RB if I remember right. So where have you been, give us an update?
Chrit aka EoE: Umm I'm now an Admin there... Also do a little posting elswhere. RBL on RM, UPN, B-boys, RnR, 411, RCN.... basically, if there is decent talent on a board, I probably post there atleast once a month
killbill22: You mention talent, how would you rate RapBattles and RV in the talent pool?
Chrit aka EoE: RB isnt bad... getting kind of stagnant however. RV has had some potential... but they all leave (ie. Shadows Edge). You had Sdizzle as a league champ... that kills credibility for a site unfortunately
killbill22: I would definitely agree with the S Dizzle comment. You bring up a good point, why do you think all the good talent eventually leaves?
Chrit aka EoE: Talent flocks to talent usually... a site only is great if 5-6 great heads stay together. Otherwise they flock to other sites with dope heads.
killbill22: Word, so what heads do you remember being dope when you were here before?
Chrit aka EoE: all I really remember is Shadows Edge....
killbill22: So talk about the Latinkitten battle, you got beat and left, why the exit stage left?
Chrit aka EoE: That was around the time I was admined on RB... that takes some time. But yeah... I actually posted that battle on a couple decent sites... my verse won by an average of 12-0 or so
killbill22: You posted the verse on other sites, isn't that kinda pointless, i mean the personals are lost if you dont get them.
Chrit aka EoE: People on good sites can read basically any verse and see talent... its commonplace on places like UPN....
killbill22: Yeah UPN and the WB do have some good talent, that Jamie Kennedy cracks me up, lol
killbill22: So the upcoming text tourney are you entered in it?
Chrit aka EoE: Yep. I plan on possibly putting some effort in it
killbill22: Wow, you heard it hear first Chrit will be putting forth effort, lol. And the KLL are you getting back in the battle league?
Chrit aka EoE: For a few weeks probably... I need to get some battles in before Playoffs in LLL... and since I may have to try in RBL soon.
killbill22: Tell us something about Chrit that we don't know, a secret.
Chrit aka EoE: That I'm a white collar ass worker. I'm your typical corporate management figure in real life.
killbill22: Word, okay. What type of corporate work do you do?
Chrit aka EoE: I'm a Sales Manager for Sprint PCS.... while going to college full time working on my dual major in marketing and management
killbill22: Nice, Ambition, I like to see that. So tell us are you doing audio currently?
Chrit aka EoE: I havent done much currently.... I just got done helping a few friends put out their first cd. So I'm slowly getting back into things.
killbill22: Any shout outs you'd like to mention/
Chrit aka EoE: Not anyone people would know very well on here... or that would even see that they were being mentioned.
