The religion debate... Whats so good about being christian?
 

I was just wondering... theres been a lot of commotion about christianity lately...

So christians come in here and tell me whats so good about christianity. and i'll argue against it.. :thumbup:

Not just Christianity, but the way i see it..

Whats the worse that can happen if you believe in a "God?"

It ends up not being true, so you just lay in your coffin anyway..
But if it does end up being true, and you chose to not believe, your fucked in your 'after-life'..

Nothing is 'so good' about being or believing in a religion, but whats bad in believing?

Well being a christian is soo great..i mean i gave up all my secular music and now i'm stronger in God......and the presesense of God is soo great.....i mean you'd wanna get rid of anything bad to have that feeling.....seriously

I know there is a god... everyone is atheist these days, and everyone tryin to get rid of everything involving god... but why can't there be a god? i think all the science shit is bullshit, i just can't believe there was just a big bang and everything was created... I see no proof that there isn't a god, and a lot of prophecies in the bible are coming true, read up on it and you'll see...

For example, in revelations it said there would be a major earthqauke that would shift the earth off its axis... the tsunami earthqauke moved the earth off its axis.. and a lot of other things is comin true... i'm tryin to become more of a christian but it's hard, but i see nothing that makes it bad, and if theres anything to come out of it it's good,

to answer the question about christianity, i wasnt baptised but i believe in jesus christ and that when we die theres an afterlife in 'heaven' or you just float around earth...i dont believe you HAVE to believe in jesus christ...as long as you believe in SOMETHING and you have a good heart...youll be in good hands when you die

what do you lose? good question, i mean you might as well believe a little bit and pray every once in a while just incase. you can't lose anything enless you are the devil and just dont want a single moral and just do awful things all the time. even if you do that you can ask for forgiveness every once in a while and get away with it. all sins are forgivin by the blood of jesus. so enless you actually feel that power of god in your life like that kid says, your not losin anything really. i've gone to church all my life and seen people who might have that but they're all poor and its sadder looking than sinning whenever.
