Ayo don't it seem every generation the world is going downhill.
I mean with the youth being raised,everyone has problems with parents.
And yesterday my 4 year old cousin actually calls me daddy.
People are being murdered for ART?Glorifying shit that fucks it up.
You probably don't realise this but just your words you're affecting
someone's behavior.We already broke the barriers of free speech
with the likes of NWA,Public Enemy,Eminem and others.But now
it Just seems repetitive.We got some like KRS one and Nas.
Making some songs to make the world a better place.I'm not saying
go all 'Hands across America" on me,just really speak on issues that
affect you.It isn't all about bragging rights.Remember that.
Believe it or not your voice is equally effective as a parental figure.
I for one grew up on music.And music raised me,so of course I wanna
keep the movement going.I oviously can't do it alone,so I would
like to BEG you,to not submit your artistic vision for media interest.

I think, what he is trying to say is to not sell out for a gimmick. Rap about what you feel and what you believe. Don't say something because that's what people want to hear. On my demo cover I have a PA sticker that says "Truthfull Lyrics" instead of explicit. Cuz I'm not one to cuss, but I am one to tell how it is and to some it may be too much. They want to believe everything in the world is ok. I speak on what I know. Speak on what you know, not what people want to hear.
