whats the use in a manager??Id rather stay doing shit solo..does a manager just do the legal side a things and promotional and sort out signings and shit?

i got lucky though cuz i was talking to a friend after making this thread n she told me bout all these underground artist she knew.. n they had managers ofcourse.. n got hooked up cuz of how close she is with em.. damn though never thought it was that easy.. but its not official, imma have to meet up with her tomorrow.. werd..

Im not really in the position to be spening money on managers.

yeah.. but this manager is coo though cuz i dont have to pay shyt yet.. she knows i wont get payed to perform yet untill i get really heard.. so she sed ill take acouple months or maybe even a year till i get really heard.. and than after that i'll most likely get payed to perform.. n she'll get her cut u know.. n u know wuts funny? someone pm'd me on myspaec saying im a stupid asian that makes too many love songs.. haha n now those songs are gonna get me heard ;)

managers dont get paid until they make you money...

but then they get PAID...

its probably worth it to have one though because theyre gonna have connects and be able to get you out there...just amke sure theyre not hustling you...
