Ya, those are those like semi-mainstream middle ground type artists. The one's who everyone knows because they get on other mainstream albums all the time. There's also like Mos Def, Pharoahe Monch, uuuuuum, a few others too.

Damn, I've never heard of anyone else who's heard of Brotha Lynch... Lol I've never heard a rapper SO authentically gangstah haha. But ya, I love Slug (Atmosphere), from him I got into people like Sage Francis, Edan, Sole, Alias, Pedestrian, Passage, all kinds of people. That group I mentioned above (Deep Puddle Dynamics) is Slug, Sole, Alias, and Dose One. Insaaaaaaaane side project right there. Because Alias and Sole both make their own beats aswell as rhyme, but they use these very melodic, atmospheric beats that just makes you actually FEEL the notes. Then you get Dose One who is probally one of the most experimental and progressive producers/beat maker/lyracist around... All in all its just a rediculous group.
