Da Vinci Code movie gets bad reviews?
 

It's funny isnt it.

I've read a lot of reviews for it on the net and in the papers, and most are mediocre. But actual people I know that go to see it say it's a great movie and a must see.

Now... What entity has enough power to control the media? And why would they want to do this to The Da Vinci Code?

The book is ace, look at the amount of good reviews it's got by opn midned people who remember it's fiction and not the opposite. The church controlling the media is disgusting, doubt the films as good as the book but I doubt it's half as bad as they say.

Well, everyone knows the movie is fiction. But, the movie is based on Dan Brown's book, which he calls "based on fact". So, they're sorta stickin their hand in the cookie jar, coming out with smudged fingers, but claiming, "But, I'm not holding a cookie."




I read most of the book. Like I said, it's a nice piece of fiction.

Have you ever actually looked into any of the research on the subject? It's probably a lot closer to fact than you would like to admit.

The illustrated version of the book kicks ass because you can check out all the paintings and everything as you read.

I'm going to see the movie tonight or tomorrow, pretty stoaked for it.
