lmaooooo @ "its good for hiphop"

smfh.

i dont care whats good for hiphop.

what i care about is that people who've doing this shit for a good time now, are getting fucking stripped of their personality. idiots do a shitty kick flip and an ollie and think they're bam margera.

point blank. thugs+skateboards=no.

thugging with a skateboard does not make you hard. it does not make hiphop better. it does not "help" hiphop seeing as how its just a fad.

^that was tha most ignorant statement of the week

it DOES help hip-hop ...it adds another element to it

and you dont have to be a thug to listen to hip-hop
so that whole "thugs+skateboards=no" analysis = bullshit

and as far as that whole quote goes... wtf are you talking about??
i have yet to see someone in the industry "stripped of their personality"

so stfu and use some intellect and common sense before you speak next time...

ayo . audrey 07-07-06 09:47 AM

bboying has already been a part of hiphop.

and if we add anymore damn elements to it, you might as well make it another genre.

edit - and i never said anyone in the industry was stripped of their personality. although they are because people see that shit and they follow it. i said people who've skateboarded for a long time in general.

Word yeah it's a nice movement, I don't think it'll be huge like you wont have cats in NY city that gon be riding on skates nah mean but it's a good movement in hiphop cos it's widening it's audience and it's limitations, it's just one of the examples of how HipHop is taking over the world..1

Terumoto 07-07-06 11:14 AM

Skating is a whole culture in itself. If anything, hip hop has become welcome in skating, skating has not become welcome in hip hop.

.Ike. 07-07-06 11:56 AM

yes its good for hip hop...

brings a new style to the table...and i personally like it

Nynth Degree 07-08-06 09:51 AM

Movement? Civil rights was a movement, this is just a trend.
