b. having your car destroyed, any pets you own killed, your father killed, having your house burnt down and being bashed really really badly and bring cripled and scarred (by fire) for life...

I don't know what I would do if my dad died, so for that alone I would rather die myself than have to go through that kind of pain and sadness.
