there was only a problem i had living my life,not taking time to look outside at all the strife/
and my personality gettin darker than night,i can't take it no more,bout to end it wit my knife/
I was blind and dumb to all the poverty in the city,picture of the slums in New York:Real Shitty/
I wouldn't want to live in the Bronx if I had money, because i would want to lead a better life,not a hood dummy/
If I had a chance, i wouldn't try to be gangsta,but God made me who I am,thats why i thank ya/
And if I could ever choose a place to live, it'd be the Bronx, cuz it made me who I am today,writing these songs/
And I would never choose a different lifestyle because that what makes me,saves me, from a harsh dose of reality/
And i would never take my own life because life is too beautiful,can't be thinkin thoughts like this in my own youthful/
And the old man shaking from the cold amazed me,it was like "wow", so i gave him my coat, i ask you who is blind now?
