Minutes until curtains raise, the light dim the stage Her lines were implanted in her head, hearts racing Director pacing cutting loose threads, props placing The turn out was grand, floor to ceiling to the stands All the stand-ins were standing, selling teddy grams Opening acts were stage magic, then chorus singing Vocals sounded tragic, two misses with baton spinning A profound hush came over the crowd, the quiet warn Parents were proud, came to see their child perform Lights dimmed, final call then the red curtains rose Her mouth, her tongue, her eyes, all her body froze Her heart gave a great fight, her death just ain’t right No has ever died of horror... an extreme case of stage fright |

topical battles are poetry, meaning you write a poem with the topic being, in this case, horror.... go to sacred scriptures(the topical battle league) and see some of th ebattles there....you will understand my point.... |
