I got the game for Christmas, & can't stop playing it. One question, though, does anybody know how to successfully strike free kicks? I read the instructions & all, but I still suck at them - HELP! Thanks.

A football game is a football game. The only football game i got is FIFA 99'. It does the basic same thing. Though i aint all that into computer/console games. But then again, i guess you got to appreciate the improved graphics and overall gameplay.

And i think you'll find more people play 'soccer' games than any other sports game in the world.

Yeah.. I'd have to say Pro Evolution games are better than Fifa ones. I got Pro evolution 3 and it's fucking amazing, best football game ever. I'v also played Fifa 2004 and it's still good but don't compare to Pro Evolution 3. I'll probably still buy Fifa 2004 though, since it can go online.

Termz, I played my first game with R. Madrid against Arsenal, & f'n Henry scored the only goal off of a PK. . Now that I'm in the Spanish league, I have no such problems :rolleyes: . .I wish I had the hook-up to play online - how much does it cost?

Bought Fifa few months ago and i've been playin' it ever since, mos def the most realistic football (soccer) game around...took me a while to get used to but it's worth it when you do.

yeah, when i play my friend who uses R.Madrid, it`s always Beckham kickin` in a fuckin` equaliser at the last minute and then once again in Golden Goal. Fucka Madrid!

I'm losing in the damned Spanish division. . I barely won the last game - Casillas stopped two PKs! Do you know if the League of Champions exists on this game? Maybe you have to unlock it or something. .

let me break it down for yall...

FOOTBALL = using your FOOT, you play a game with a BALL...

american football = correct me if im wrong, but dont you use your hands to throw, run with the ball in your hands, only kick for field goals, and run around in big plastic wrapped in lycra?


so if anything, your term of football is wrong, England created the game called FOOTBALL... so thats how it stays... america had to steal the name, for a weak excuse of a different game...
