basically opeys post says that mods are being stretched thin, and rb needs some new mods that can concentrate on one, maybe two forums. it makes perfect sense. please input thoughts on this issue.

Which is why I'm trying to become a FL mod. I should be soon, but yeah. I agree with most except open mic. They should have 3-4 mods. But yeah, if I was a FL mod I would only focus on that.

Crew mods are pretty useless..
A s-mod should be able to delete any irrelevant topics..
& the crew leaders should keep their own forum..clean.

This is generally true.
I ended up with over half of RB at one point.
Some days this became a huge hassle to keep up with.... I think thats why I was eventaully given an s-mod spot... that gave me the opportunity to still do work on those forums but also have someone strictly for that forum.

Opey's idea does work....
Although finding the right 12 people would be a tough decision

Only thing I'm sure about is that Hip Hop Lounge and Emcee Interaction should be modded by C-section and Loki.

Leave Maven or Edicius at Open Mic mod, or keep the three same mods, When is always on when the other isn't..

I'd have no objections to you being a FL mod, seeing as you've battled more times than anyone on this site.

C-Section is great in member pics aswell as Ei. . Cause I live in the Uk the hours I'm on are late night/early morning in the Us so I am kind of at a disadvantage. . but C-section would be a good idea. .

Is that nessicarily a good thing? Since the incident w/ Brooklyn and all. I trust BTK, but I think that if anybody becomes FL mod they need to stop poll battling on Front Lines.

i also think btk would make a good mod, hes been here a long time and has battled more then anyone. i trust him and i dont think that he would cheat and edit polls...

no...then stupid newbies would nominate all of there friends...

i say you compile a list of active mods....they go into a aim chat and along with admins decide who would be best....

you review current mods...and dont keep them on because there respected you keep them on cuz they do a good job...

there are plenty SM, mods who do nothing but because cprog and strobe arent as active....arent able to see these things....End would make good calls but becuase of loyalty to certain members might feel an obligation to let them keep there spots or give spots becuase of how long theyve been on the site, etc... Id think Bruklor would be impartial to loyalty....he would choose to mod people because of what they could do...and not because how much they Campaign or BEG

I agree with having a set number of mods in each section but what has to be made certain is that there active and therefor the right reasons

What ever you guy's decide is fine by me. I'll be around to support the site any why I can, unless sublime D is made MOD, then I quit........

I like the list suggestion, placed in emplyee's only forum it should be a good tool.

A chat with admins doesn't help much..
Seeing as every mod that's active has been appointed by a admins preference.
It could be a idea to put toghether a sort of 'council' consisting out of respected members, ppl with clean records, as in no history of biting, cheating.. n who've been here for a while.
That way u'll get lots of different nominees..
One will nominate someone for his loyalty..somebody else will nominate someone for his organizin' skills..
So you could put those skills toghether & finally pick someone who posseses most of the nominated skills.
If the 'council' would be open-minded..& shove their preferences aside.. it could work..

We should keep this thread at suggestions on how to handle the problem. That way it could be handled in the best way possible..I guess.

I completely agree with everything Feeble agreed to on that list. But me feebs and Axe are doing a great job in IR. There really isn't need for more mods there.
