Switch a light on and go see which room it lit?

Sry my bad I forgot a major part but I added it in!! LOL... good guess though.

1. Take a saw.
2. Cut holes in the floors of each room above one with a light switch.
3. Turn on a switch.
4. Lean down through the holes and look until you find the bulb that was lit.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 as many times as necessary :thumbup:

Try all of the switches until you figure out which one lights the room at the bottom of the stairs. Then put one of the others back into the off position. When you go downstairs you will know which switches turned on which lights :thumbup:

This riddle took me bout 15 mintues.

go to the power box and turn everything on

turn all three on at the same time easy

Then they would all be on, how would you figure out which one goes to which switch?

So I'm guessing you are saying this one was wrong?

turn the lights off before you go downstairs damn yall dumb now pay me vinci

plug a light bulb in the room upstairs, turn on all the switches see wich ones turns on the bublb in the room upstairs, then turn on the other switch, leave the other one off, go downstairs and see wich one is left on and wich bulb is off, that is all

You turn two light switches on..

Then, quickly, you turn one of the switches off and run downstairs..

One room (which will the switch you left turned on) will be lit, one room (which will be the one you never touched) will not be lit AND the light bulb will be cold, the other room (which will be the one where you quickly turned off the switch)will not be lit BUT the light bulb will still be a little warm.

Using those calculations you will be able to determine which switch goes to which room with one trip down the stairs.

Ok, So when you're on the second floor, turn on a switch. Then look down the stairs. If it's in room 1 or 2, you'll see the glow coming into the hallway. If there's no glow, then the switch connected to the bulb in room 3.
