Have you noticed on rap forums atleast, (not just RV, but most forums) that newbs are getting more and more stupid? I remember a few years back there was a lot of newbs out there that were just normal people with good opinions.. Nowadays I get the feeling that the majority of people who are just starting net battling are just mindless idiots that follow around on the cocks of people who have:

1. Been around longer.
2. Have more posts.
3. This is one of the only sites that has battle records.. But yeah those too effect the d/r a lot around here..

..Thing is, the people who have been around longer with more posts these days.. Dont know how to deal with newbs.. I used to joke around about 'whoring newbs' for fun.. But some people actually do that and take it too far..

I seriously do wonder though, why are internet sites attracting this many morons these days.. Is it because younger people are starting to have more access to the internet or is it that the internet is just attracting a bunch of losers these days.. I mean theres losers everywhere on the net, anywhere you go.. Theres idiots that put virus's anonomously on files making it near impossable to download something from the net without getting bombarded with spyware.. And theres idiots that make webpages dedicated to putting add ware on peoples computers through using hundreds and hundreds of pop ups on every page.. Not to mention these new types of idiots that have big net reputations and live their entire social life online in chat rooms and forums.. Which is IMO a new steriotype that well start to see forming in the next decade or so..

But back on track; I think that the net in general is going up shit creek.. People had a vision that one day every person will have internet access in their homes..

well i have never whored a newb...but wheni was a newb i didnt act stupid..i just battled everyone.....and tried to get my record up..i would not talk shit or nothing..then once i became known on RB relaunched i was considered a vet...

i remeber when if you had 10 wins then you were considered a vet...shit was funny

for some reason i dont have a problem with newb's. I can actually stand them, simply because I remember when I first found a internet rap site, i had no clue what it was all about, so yes at time i did post stupid comments in the wrong place and so-on.
But i have to admit, i wasnt as bad as some of the cats we get here. either ignorant or just plain blind.

The newby's we get on RB think they hot, when they simply ain't.
They get shut-down alot though, by the senior member's.

There will always be people on the Internet who actually enjoy sending out virusses or being stupid on sites like these, it's inevitable and the amount will only increase...But we shouldn't prejudge all newbs because of it, we were all a newbie once (I still consider myself one in fact...). The Internet will continue to grow and we can't stop childish and moronic people coming here. It's something to pass the time for them and when they get bored, they have the uncontrolable urge to make idiotic threads and such.

Oh well, I tend to ignore it...

Well a lot of people nowadays don't really care what happens on the net because no one knows them so they can act as retarded as they want. Some newbs here have been cool, elevated, and now are good. Some newbs act retarded, get hated on, and leave because no one likes them.

For the vision, I think the vision had good intensions, but technology has corrupted the vision. So many people thinking they are big because they can kill a computer, a piece of machinery, from a file. I can destroy a computer as well, all you need a fuckin' baseball bat. Overall I think some people need to stay off the net, while others need to show respect when it is earned, and not say you are the shit when you best line rhymes blue/shoe. My 2 Cents. px

For those who were talking about getting help on RB, skip the years of posting till you get to 10,000 posts and the trying to prove yourself when all the vets put you down... Just grab some of the vets aims... Theyre pretty decent people if you try talk to them... Just dont seem too herbish...

But on this topic... Theres two kinds of noobs on rap sites. Ive got no problem helping out or not hating on the ones that make honest mistakes here and there, and try to elevate and be decent... But fuck the ones who think theyre the shit but are wack as fuck... eg.. dopeboi... tecknick.. theres others..

And then there are the people who are just fuckin wierd... eg. sinner... damn that guys a screwed up kid....

The trick to becoming successful on RV for ME was basically staying out LL alltogether unitl I had earned a REAL battling rep. If you look back, I never used to even come into LL, and the first time I did was to ask people to vote on my battle. lol

But yeah, the newbs here always seem to be relatively young and willing to hop on dicks to get far. It's gay really. And everyone here thinks that a battle is the ultimate way to prove how good you are compared to another person, which is dumb because it's an overall intelligence that proves how good you are. I am happy however that RV hasn't let the freeposters generally run the site like RB does. But seriously, EVERYONE needs to get more focused.

Yeah, I also noticed another interesting point. When the interenet was created, people looked at it as a wayto communicate with other people. To interact with the world. And NOW everyones walking around like "Oh, it's just the net." The overall attitude of the internet has significantly changed.
