no...i am proud to say that i freestyle my battle verses...

I've been here since July, and seen countless people get accused but pre-writing, but I've never been sure on what actually constitutes pre-writing. Somebody help me out there.

i was gonna kinda ask the same question... I start writing once the battle is accepted, is that pre-writing? or u talkin bout just saving a bunch of punchlines to throw together 3 months from now when someone calls me out?

Okay, i'll define pre-writing in my own definiton of it..........

Ta me pre-writing is simple NOT Thinkin of your rhymes off the dome

Ya see when i battle, i like ta accept an just go with th flow, not take days ta work on my punches/personals/structure/an everything, ya feel?

its like, i know this isnt much of a comparsion but say if you were on a stage awaiting a battle, you couldnt just say, oh wait, lemme just go find out your life story an hate on that, you;'d have ta go with the flow, thats an emcee, not taking 4 days ta post 8 lines, ya know?

but thats only my definiton, maybe others have diffrent opinnons

If you accept an just go with the flow, i dont consider that pre-writing, i'm talking setting a battle up, an not droppin straight away, waiting days ta drop, throwin punches together that you have either had saved somewhere, or whatever, i think you get the point

yes at times I do prewrite. for instance the battle in my sig against whoever its against was written for another battle,he no showed i used it in this battle.

I dont think there is a problem with prewriting..its text on the internet.

Itw ould be diffrent if it was audio battles. but text prewriting. I personnaly dont see anything wrong with it.

Technically, yeah it does, its hows talent counts for nothing, because anybody can take all day ta write a verse, an theres noi such thing as writers block, emcees dont have writers block, TALENT COMES NATURAL, Thats like a basketball player missing a free throw an saying they have uhmmm, shooters block? lol...or somthin

But really if you set up a battle with a 3 day drop period how can you get mad at someone for using that time to write a verse?

And in an actualy battle, niggas don't just "go with the flow" when their opponent is spitting, what do you think the other person is doing? they are thinkin of different angles to get at the opponent, and when they are actually spittin, they're not aiming to go 20 seconds and jus stop, that's why they use lines they they already have written, so they can keep going...it's not a hard thing to do..yo have been rappin since August though..
