I'm even making a rap track using samples from their song freak on a leash which is sounding fucken ill already and I only got the verse music done so far..

Heavy metal doesnt impress me. Korn allways seemed like a a bunch fo noise to me. I couldnt find were there talent was. but yeh..everyone for there own ...

lmfao, Korn isn't heavy metal, they suck, I watched them live, the drummer couldn't even stay on beat, the lead singer couldn't even hit one note, the guitarists had the easiest rifts, and I know what i'm saying, i've been drumming for 4 years, Korn is "ok" or "crappy" at most, and live, there nothing, like, they are seriously just plain shit.

I dont look down on commercial rap as a genre, I just look down on most artists that do it... The style of music I do uses elements of 90's commercial rap mixed with underground rhyme schemes and topics people actually want to hear about as opposed to a lot of underground cats that make esoterical bullshit that only appeals to hip hop heads.

Korn doesent suck dude.... I listen to their songs and I enjoy what I hear, if its not your type of music, good for you.. Personally I'm not a big metal fan, I only like a few groups and korn is definatly one of them..

I listened to metal before I got into rap which is a very long time. And I'm most likly a lot older than your friends.. Korn has been one of my fav groups for ages and I got all their cd's.. Music is subjective though, what they think is dope is probably what I think is trash..

Korn however has much more of a musical appeal and really add substance behind their songs... Which makes it a lot more enjoyable to me..

One of my mates who is in a metal group that hooks me up with gigs is always telling me about weird groups I've never heard of... I think a lot of those people just listen to them to act tech like they know all this shit you dont..

I check out a few, but I'm never very interested..
