NO...Saying Serena is Ugly isn't racist. Calling her an "APE" in offensive because of the history of that term in describing black people. You don't have to agree with it, I'm just educating you on it. Certain terms have certain historical roots when dealing with racism and bigotry. Calling blacks NIGGERs, porch MONKIES, APES, among other things were use to degrade and denigrate us. Therefore, when a white person uses those terms, it rides a fine line between intent and historical meaning. YOu could have said "SERENA IS UGLY TO ME"...I can respect that. BUt, to say "SERENA IS AN APE or LOOKS LIKE AN APE" is plain wrong. If anything, it's immature and childish because I don't think she remotely resembles an Ape. The issue is what about her makes her look ape-ish, her AFRICAN features? Again, you can have your preferences. But, do NOT insult a culture or it's FEATURES in ways historically used to degrade them and think it's all PEACHY. It's wrong.

You come in here and you call me racist for one comment I made on one person. You make a thread about it, you sig it, you go out of your way to argue it... But, you dimiss all the racism towards white people that went on before my comment, which wasn't even meant to be racist. I posted a picture of a white girl, saying she was sexy. The other people in that thread, who were black, started bashing all white women, not just the one picture I posted, but all white women. Then they posted about 10 pictures of black women, and on the last picture, Serinna Williams. I said she looked like an ape. I think one of them acctually agreed. That person was black. Everybody in the thread knew it wasn't intended to be racist, and nobody took it that way. This was after they bashed white girls for about 3 pages of posts. Then, I go have a shower come back and two idiots, leady and Tha Q. are calling me racist for my post. That's a bunch of bullshit. You may know the history behind the whole black/ape thing. But you don't even know what went on before that, so basically you should shut the fuck up.
