its suttin i been meanin to ask...for all u aspiring MCs out there...do u really think ur gonna "make it" (get a record deal n do good numbers) or r u "realisitic" n realize that being in the industry is a game of luck n ur dice arent the best for rollin? n why or why not?

im not looking to hit the big time, never once claimed i will either, im just working to make noise in my country, n if that means i get shit played else where in the world then so be it.

I rap because I fucking love too. I've always said that this was just a passion of mine, but if a deal came along I would consider...depending on how much creative freedom I'd have. A major label record deal never really appealed to me much, after seeing what that's done to some of my favorite underground artists in the past. I'm currently in college, so in a few years I'll have a career and still be able to make my music the way I want to.

I'm part of a group of emcees now, Infini-Te. We're talented enough to be noticed. But, as everyone knows, it takes more than talent to "make it" in the industry. Personally, though, I feel like I can revolutionize rap. I may not make it "big time" like Jay Z, but I can certainly enjoy underground success and respect for what I have to say. 90% of what I drop on this site is me practicing flow/rhyming. I have concepts that have NEVER been done--at least that I know of--that I'm sitting on right now. Anything is possible.

I got connects thats gonna help me get the tape out there.. I'd love to sign to a company like Obese Records. I deffo know I got what it takes..... Its just a matter of being lucky enough for things to turn out well which I generally keep a positive mindframe about cause I know its all possible.

I got a bunch of ambitions and plans for my career in rap.. And if rap dont work out the way I want it to.. I have other career paths I'd be willing to take........

Hip hop and music for me are things I take extremily seriously.... My life pretty much revolves around them.. I work like a mother fucker and I dont plan on failing..

Time will tell bruz...

I also have a friend who is currently living in Holland. He wants me and some other local emcees to send him some of our material, because they love American hip hop out there. So if he meets someone who has some connections, I might travel to Europe for a few years to make music. That would be...damn, that would be great.

I think I got a good shot. Maybe make a few songs that get regular air time on some radio stations, maybe even a video.....but I doubt I make it anywhere past that. I will always have the passion though :thumbup:™

as of right now the group im with is real solid, we all on the same page as far as commitment goes, and skill wise we know within a year or so we'll definetly have what it takes

i dont beleive its reality, u dnt really have the style to make it to the mainstream, n u dont have the skill to make an impact on the underground scene, beleive me, ive seen heads a million n one times more talented n skilled in every aspect of rhyming, and they had lables lookin at them e.t.c, but they still failed n aint done nothing worth shit.

Well it all depends on your goals for being a rapper in life. Is it for money, fame, to be herd, or for recognition of your existence. I rap because i love to rap period. If I loose money rapping or make money rapping im going to continue doing it because its something i do. I got to sleep rhyming and wake up and get me a bageal then sip my orange juice waiting for the bus to come and think of a few rhymes. im just in it to be recognize. To me rapping should be a secondary career like sports. Because there is no guareentee that you'll make it. But yeah in my view i already made it because I got respect as a lyracist where im from.
