Not a child you had, not a child you adopted. Your own clone from your own DNA. Would you raise it from it's artifical birth onward?

How old are you now? Your clone's DNA is as old as you are when you clone yourself. So, if an 80 year old man cloned himself, the "baby" would have 80 year old DNA with telomeres cut so short, he'd live only 10-15 years.

Good thing I'm not even 20. They'll clone me in like 5 years, so I can have an epic death somewhere in my middle ages.

Otherwise, there's no reason why people have to die at 70 or 80. Think about it. There are species of turtles that live over 100 years on average. It's all in the DNA my friend.
