Kalvin made an example out of C-Section and Chrit by demodding them, so hopefully that will straighten other mods up a bit. So in one aspect it was a good thing, but on the other hand, I'm cool with C-Section and Chrits not a bad guy either...


I don’t totally agree with what they did though. Shemy is still a person. Ok, so he lied or whatever about being shot, and maybe he’s a little over weight...he’s still a person. I make fun of a lot of people on the board a lot of the time, but I’m never serious, and I don’t actually try to make a person feel bad. I don’t think Shemy is a very confident person, and the fact everyone’s constantly making fun of him definitely doesn’t help at all. From what he’s said, I think he’s taken some of the insults to heart, and well that’s really not a good thing.
People have said he posted something about suicide or something, now I don’t know if he actually said it, but if he did that’s definitely not cool. The fact that people have made him feel that badly about himself that he would even say something like that, joking or not. There actually have been people who killed themselves because of people making fun of them constantly over the internet. Ok, yeah, so those people took what others said to serious, the fact is they still killed themselves, and that’s incredibly wrong! I know that I wouldn’t want to push someone so far they even consider hurting themselves, let alone actually kill themselves.
That’s not cool or right.

I'm with Flu on this one. . I haven't been reading RB Illustrated, therefore my knowledge of the event is limited - but, from what I understand, his punishment defines extreme. Dude takes a beating like no other, & never cries about it (see: beloved Cam's diss, his picture thread, every thread he posts in :rolleyes: ). If we didn't have the right to criticize and make fun of people, half of us wouldn't be here. I'm sure if you search for Rapbattles.com, one of its subgenres would be: Entertainment. Restore Flu & Chrit's powers, in the name of entertainment.
