Yo....i already own a ps2..dont play it to much n gettin kinda bored of it since i had it for about 2 years..so i was was thinkin of gettin a gamecube..store near mes doing a deal so i get the new mario kart..zelda game 2 controllers and a memory card for not to much atall..anyone gotta gamecube? what are the games like...they look pretty dope..the new f zero x game looks tight...tell me what ya think of gamecubes...shudda i buy one or just spend my money on beer :huh:

ive only played mario party 2 or 3 or something like that i personally wouldnt bother with a game cube but they are ok i guess..

ive played gamecube, and its okay, ive never been a big fan of nintendo game consoles. i think the gamecube doesnt play dvd's but u have a dvd player on ps2.. and they have controllers that u dont need to be connected.. its dope.. i think u should go ahead and buy it

yeh the dvd player on ps2 is loud as fuck...its wack..i gotta dvd player neways...n i think games consoles shud be for games not all this other shit like dvd players n music players means it just costs more n they aint to great at playin dvds n music..

i have a gc, i like my gc alot. it depends on da person tho. do u like to just have violent games where u shoot ppl? like basically no thinkin or do u want games dat are more fresh? F zero is tite. metroid prime is a real good game, its fun, but it is hard. so if ya aint good at video games then dont even bother with it. then theres a ol original games. if ya like da old super nintendo(my fav system) then u should get super mario sunshine, it might not be gangsta or anything like gta3, but it is fun and very innovative, just like da good ol days wit a super nintendo. then theres multiplayer games like timesplitters 2( fun first person shooter) and super smash bros, if ya had an old N64 and played super smash bros, then get super smash bros melee. ull be able to kick ppls asses with link, mario, bowser, dk and a whole lot more. then theres mario kart, fun game fasho, and playin it online just ads more to da multiplayer experience. if ya like horror adventure games, then gc has a couple of good ones too, Restident evil the remake brings back da old feelin and is a good challenge(and gettin to blow da shit outa unholy zobie monsters doesnt hurt either) theres Resident evil 0, basically da same as Resident evil the remake but new characters and new switch system where u can change between characters to make it more of a thinkin game(ads a new dimension to the old RE formula). theres also Eternal darkness, very new concept to a horror game, they got an insanity feature which fucks with u alot, like u start to go crazy in da game. u get to innihilate monsters with swords, guns, fire and much more. oh, and if ya like zelda, then theres one of da best games ever made, zelda wind waker, ya sure its kiddy but i bet most adults cant even beat it. its hard and challenging but still an incredible experience. sports games are not the gamecubes strong point, u wont find an abbundant ammount of sports game on gc. for action games dey got Viewtiful joe, its a new take on the old beat em up(kinda like contra except way fuckin better) theres slow down(a matrix like power which slows down the action on screen and lets u kick ass in slow motion) then theres speed up dat when u start beatin da shit outa ure enemies so bad, u get so hot, ure on fuckin fire!. so if sum of these games sound interesting, then by all means go buy a damn gc. im real satisfied wit mines. btw, get if ure a fighting game fan, soul calibur 2.

the madden graphics on the gamecube are tighter than they are on the PS2. but as a whole i dont like the controller on the gamecube but i agree, for the price i am thinking about picking it up myself.

My advice to you is this...If you get the Gamecube, it is just like the N64. Not like gameplay or anything, but like the N64, Gamecube's strength lies in its first party games(Nintendo games) or Rareware games(donkey Kong, and stuff like that) Those are the two main parties. Those and the exceptional sports games. Nintendo doesn't really get third party help, but when its a reputable company( EA or Capcom, anyone?) Expect to have a nice surprise.

gc has the best hardware out of any of the 3 systems.. and the games are very diverse in category, i settled with a gc because it was cheap and the majority of the console specific games were adventure rpg's

GameCube is geared towards 8 year olds. I'll pass.

don't get an xbox....no name games with no name characters....u wouldn't even really know what to get...most people with an xbox buy a game and hope it's good....unless it has came out on another system....gamecube has original games and characters that just get better every time...which is y i've always stuck with nintendo merchandise....the controllers are complicated at first...but u will soon realise that Nintendo makes the most comfortable and best controllers ever....here are games u should get...

My opinion. If you don't like a system then come up with a good reason why you don't like it. If you want all your games to have peoples limbs being torn of their still living body or want to barbaque Grandma I say go play your FPS or GTA. Don't try to be all cool by saying some dumb post proving your how really mature that you truly are. I get a good laugh out of it when you say your mature, but then make a real dumb post acting like a huge ass.

I think it's funny that all the Nintendo fanboys always answer with, "But we got characters people know," That's very true, GameCube does have a lot of games people know, sadly that displays poor originality though, don't you think?

The only game that I was really wanting on GameCube was Perfect Dark, seeing how I enjoyed the first one. However, Xbox just signed Rare so Perfect Dark is now exclusive to the Xbox.


Oh, and PS3 isn't near release yet. It most likely won't even be showed to the public at E3 (U.S's biggest game convention), because they want to focus on the PSP. (< think that's what it's called, it's their new handheld device.. )
