(oh yeah, I forgot to mention, this goes for when you're injured in "street clothes" as they USED to call it, as well)

Do you even know what you're saying? How could the employer "not have the right" to make their employees comply to a dress code. Its not racist, and its not against the hip hop culture at all.

You're whole argument is flawed... All they want is for professional players in a professional league to look professional. Obviously the guys that run the shit arent against the "hip hop culture" since they market it.

I feel a dark skinned person loves to use there color as a cope out when they dont get there way. When in reality racism is created by continuisly talking about it and living a make beleive fanasty that it is still as apparent as 80-100 years ago.

I do how ever feel this i sa ploy against hip hop religion. Hip hop is becoming a apparent, not to mentioned hated, fasion for general youth of today. Our elders see it as not politically correct,so this seems to me like one of many things they will do to eleminate our culture.
but what they dont relise is,the more you fight hip hop,the stronger we get.

Incineratedrose 10-22-05 04:57 AM

Yeah, but you're not even on the point anymore and its really obvious, we're not talking about fighting hip-hop. You just assume NBA and hip hop work hand in hand.

Ysdat 10-22-05 05:03 AM

they dont go hand in hand, but for an example ..a basketball throw back jersey is well known to be worn by a rapper or someone living the hip hop culture.

Our elders of today, who dont acftually undertsand a fucking thing about our culture, see it all as the saem thing. there is no diffrence between clothing styles from basketball to the "iresponsible youth" they see in rap music videos. Our elders are closed minded. So to them they are one int he saem, but to us, actually living the life. We understand the big diffrence.

i dont see what the big deal is?? shit hip hop is tied in with the nba a lot...its like during the game when the home team has the ball do you think there gonna be playin some old folks music like classical jazz?? Fuck no there gonna be bumping 50 cent or some shit...somthing that'll get the team amped no make um fall asleep
