they're all $10 per team tournaments. MY boy who I played with last night has won 10 already this year. He's one who got me into it. This is my first year playing them.

That sixth tournament tho was $30 per team. Because winning team got a free bid into the $25,000 King of the Cups Singles Tournament in Las Vegas in August.

I choked so bad in that tournament it wasn't even funny. My partner was on fire too, so if I had played at least DECENT we would have won easily.

but felt good to get back in winners circle. :cool:

wow. So first 7 games I played LIGHTS fucking out. Both me and my partner. Lost to some nasty dudes in first round in OT (They made all 3 on their first turn). Then we won 6 straight. Like we just cleaned house. Then we played same dudes who beat us and beat them in OT (made all 3 on first turn. haha revenge was sweet. knocked them out). Then we got to finals. Played our boys (my partner's roommate, and dude who is ranked #17 in best beer pong players in the nation. Best in MA. But he was off in finals tho).

Then i decided to play like a fucking bum. Won the first game in 2 ots (i only hit 4 cups out of the total 16 cups we hit. Although i hit the last 2 cups to win in 2nd OT), but then we lost the 2nd game (we had to win twice due to being in losers bracket).

ughhhhhhh. so pissed. Got $20 tho. But still, Beer pong is such a love/hate relationship.

word beer pong is the shit,cant wait till my sis pops out this baby so we could be partners again and wreck shop like we use to..but u def sound like u own at beer pong.

well I mean, honestly playing basketball helps me. And not to mention, like my boy who got me into it, finished 17th out of 510 teams in the World Series of Beer Pong in January. Like him and his 4 roommates all nasty. So we carpool to tournaments, and just playing with them made me better.

Playing with him, I've won 2 tournaments, 3rd place, and 2 place. lol My other partner is also nasty, but he a rookie in this like me too.

But people think it's all luck, but try saying that when it gets down to a 3-4 shot rebuttal or last cup in the finals of a tournament, or OT. It's all about who can block out the other team and focus through the pressure.

that last part been fucking me over lately. I play sober, so it gets to me more than others. I'll get there tho.

it's illegal to play beer pong with beer in cups. Or even just placing a beer on a pong table is considered illegal. Bars could get shut down for that.

And it's optional if you want to drink or not. I mean I just love how people keep saying shit about it like "LOL what a stupid idea playing beer pong without beer". wow damn it. Again today. Went 3-2 in doubles tourney. Then 1-1 in singles. So pissed.

Doubles we started out LIGHTS OUT. went 3-0. And i'm a fucking idiot, I don't know why, but for me it's like I gotta stay on a particular side of the table. The dudes we played in semi's of winners bracket knew that (same dudes who beat us last night and we beat later on to knock them out). They beat us when it was 1-1. Then in singles, I played that guy I lost to last night in second rd (#17 in nation dude). It was only a fucking 6 cup game. I was up 5-3. He missed first cup, got second cup (4-3) then as I was pulling cup out my fucking DUMBASS knocked over a cup to make it 3-3 (and as a result, he got one ball back). He drained it, made it 3-2 him. I made it 2-2. Then he hit next 2, and I hit one and missed last cup. You don't KNOW how fucking pissed I was.

then it carried onto the doubles tourney and i blew it, and we lost on last cup again. so gayyyyyy

Oh I guess there's a difference between competitive beer bong and just for fun beer pong... I didn't know there was once lol. I mean it is called BEER pong so beer pong without beer should just be called Pong in my opinion lmao

^nah, it's nationwide. Like some bars might do it, but like all the World Pong Tour affiliated tournaments or the official ones don't use it. Even the World Series of Beer Pong used to have beer in cups, now they don't anymore.
