i would LOVE to see that. the world, needs to be like that with real hip hop being allover the radio and TV.

so it could show people hip hop isnt a bunch of ignorant people. rapping about stupid shit. so they could see rap artists actually have talent. and they might respect us more as artist

fuck anyone that doesnt want real hip hop to blow up.

Seriously. Shut the fuck up. I was estatic to see Atmosphere and Aesop Rock get air play on MTV. I'm happy that they are finally getting the recognition that they deserve. It just makes my life so much easier when I can find the albums in stores without having to go order them online.

Plus I'll actually be able to talk about these guys in school without someone looking at me like I'm from fucking Mars.

Of course, now that means I'm the guy who listened to these people before the became big.

What I found funny though is that some kid the other day was like, "Man, everyone knows Atmosphere." And about a month back before the single was played, that same kid would be like, "Who?" So congratulations on Atmosphere's part.

The only downfall is that I'm going to have to deal with idiots that claim to be die hard Atmosphere fans and have been listening to them since the beginning. "The beginning" to these people will be "Seven's Travels." Slight factor in the whole scheme of things...

Anyways, be happy that these people are finally getting the recognition that they deserve. And the artists should be happy that the fans have spread the word about them. So congratulations on both ends of the spectrum.

Who gives a shit if they become popular, as long as the music is good. Nas is commercial but he's still dope.

And anyway, Aesop Rock is perfect for the mainstream... hes been a gangsta all along...

"Mars attacks.... with electric gats"

I personally like it when I hear someone I've known about for a while get big. Atmosphere-"Trying to Find A Balance" is one of the most requested songs out here in the Bay area at the alternative rock station.

if nebody i listened to was on mtv and underground i'd be happy. good artists deserve exposure and the rewards that come with it regardless of whether they're undergroung or commercial. as long as they have talent, it's all good. heck, if anybody i met knew what the hell i was talking about when i even mentioned rakim then i'd be happy. crappy town that i live in and all. i swear like one person i know has heard of rakim. lol. but yeah. you should be happy a talented artist is getting big. at least now some thought's will get to the hip hop hating types.
