Yo, old school is all about skill an' flow. While now a days, you could suck ass but if you hang around with the right group then you'll sell records.

cant really compair them cause rap has elavated since then. from lyrics to beats there has been to much change.

but i would rather listen to my old CDs then anything on the radio.

Nwa, =)..

Oldscool ..for the vibe and iunno its just more 'real' new shit is mostly beat no content, some has content.. most not.

i grew up basically into new school... but recognizin old skool cats such as Rakim, Ice Cube, and Slick Rick... i agree back then they had creativity and flow and it was just PURE hip hop.

new school is like "Follow the leader" if the thang is too sing about being in a club, the whole industry will sing about being in the club... get it? yea

But in the New School, you can still find a good source of music... like the "Hustlin'" bein expressed before a million times but a few new skool niggas will express it in a diffrent term bringin' a diffrent side to things... like JayZ or Nas

But new school dosent seem to have any lyrical presence at all... except 4 a few

There's no way you can even put them in the same category. The game has evolved way too much to even make an assumption or guess on the subject.
