The definition of 'Emcee' in the UK is different, more of a garage rapper.

"Emcee" aka "MC" aka "Master of Cerimonies". If you are an "Emcee" - you do it for real. If you a garage rapper - you are just one of anyone of us who hits a cypher at a party, or with our boys.

I been to the studio a few times but i still wouldnt consider that Emcee status. When you sell CD's. Your an Emcee.

or introduce people.. you need the talent 2 jump up on stage n git a crowd goin 2 be an MC thats why rapers call themselves MC's

When you spit to Garage its the same as spitting to rap
it's just a different type of music.

You have to be talented with the rhymes and the ability
to control the mic to be an MC it's not just a rap thing.
But like Jonix said in England we don't call people like
Naz MC's we call them rappers.

We call MC's people like dizzie rascal, Det, Bushkin.
so us English catz have a different meaning for the
word.
