Nynth Degree 11-25-04 08:24 PM

^Your opinion is not valid...

If you look at all the great QBs, they always had a go to guy that demanded double coverage, and a quality back that also demanded attention. Joe Montana had Rice and Roger Craig. Peyton has James and Harrison....also Wayne. Mcnabb is doing great this year because of T.O and Westbrook. The only quarterback that never really had a supporting cast was Marino......actually, he had the Marks brothers didn't he. Oh, well.....it proves my point that a QB is only as good as the people he can throw to

Nynth Degree 11-25-04 08:28 PM

Word, but Marino could throw damn good...

Enygma 11-25-04 08:31 PM

I'm not taking anything away from Dan The Man.....they used to say that in practice, without pads....he'd put crosses on the newbies chests from the tip of the football cause he threw so fucking hard. That's A Fucking Arm And A Half!!!!

Nynth Degree 11-25-04 08:35 PM

Lol @ arm and a half...but I remember when the Bears had that stadium recontruction, they played all their homegames in my town. I went to the season opener against the Packers and saw Favre throw one of the best games in his career. Every pass was like 60 yards, it was ultra dope...

The Chronic Kid 11-25-04 09:45 PM

Randall Cunningham he's not the best but worth metioning better than vick thoe

Enygma 11-25-04 09:49 PM

^^^ Randall was the shit!!!! That was my boy right there. That dude could scramble like a mutha....then throw the ball sixty yards down the field......fucking dope

The Chronic Kid 11-25-04 09:56 PM

good you fellin me bro, ive been sportin the numba 12 since way back and thats all beacuse of randall, randall is 10 times a better scrambler then vick but wasent as fast.

JRoy 11-25-04 09:57 PM

Johnny Unitas,Joe Montana,And a few more...theres manny good QB's

Wickedclown 11-25-04 10:00 PM

yall list some great QBs... brady, marino, elway, peyton manning, mcnabb, montana.... all great but they all learned from the BEST and that was Johnny Unitas colts QB from 1955-1973.... league wouldnt be the same if it wasnt for his style of play and technique... and if you dont know who he was... u dont know football

Enygma 11-25-04 10:30 PM

Yeah....but then you can say the same about Joe Namath.....The N.Y Jets were heavy underdogs in the superbowl against the Colts and Joe Namath guaranteed a win over the Colts and fucking did it.....now that's the man right there

Wickedclown 11-25-04 10:33 PM

you are right... joe namath was an EXELENT QB! he got his victory... look back on it tho... unitas was out of the game with an arm injury... earl moral the back up qb played til the 4th qtr and then unitas came in and scored the colts only TD... now that says somethin... your right tho namath was great.

This was until they pulled him halfway through the third quarter. Just imagine how many he might have had if he played the entire game. He is on the verge of shattering the single season record for touchdowns, currently held by Dan Marino with 48 TD passes. Comparing their progression throughout the season, Dan Marino was only at 30 TDs at this point in the season, Manning is already at 41!!! He has already made up a new record, most consecutive games with atleast 4 touchdown passes, and is on the verge of passing Steve Young's career QB rating (112.8) since he is currently rated with a 124.5

Joe Montana, best to ever do it. Favre is second, Marino third. everyone else is just whatever.
