I think its a stupid idea, there are already too many sub-forums and it would be just another LL, and I dont think anyone will stick to the 'topics', they'll still be freeposting and all the other things that happen in the LL.

make it a sub-forum in LL
if you freepost, start a stupid ass topic or generally dont follow the rules your banned for a week no questions asked

I say yes, but a good mod needs to mod it, because too many people will act like morons in it. I like Mimesis' idea of an IQ test, lol.

strobe forum yea that would work ...nah really though ll is nice but honestly half the threads up right now are dumb like the i'm le younger brother thread wtf? the moderation is not what it would need to be in LL for intellectual topics...

Seriously, people already discuss solid news/world-related topics in the LL, and nobody hates on them for that. With that said, it's unnecessary for those people to try and separate themselves from those who don't discuss the same kind of topics. But if you wanna do it like that, then we shouldn't even have an LL, just a bunch of other forums dedicated to things such as...


There are a lot of threads about suggestions to improve this site, so why don't we get a forum for that? Oh wait, my bad, there already is one. Just like there's already a place for discussing "smart" things...this forum.
