Think about how warped raps image would be to some people looking from the outside, they dont think NWA, pac n big etc etc, they think 50 cent, lil jon, chingy, puff daddy, w/e other bullshit MTV throws in the mix..

Don't get me wrong though, radio stations will always be pumping that commercial shit just because that's the climate of rap music when the station heads are thoroughly greased by record execs. But reguardlesss of that - the new calling for an emcee is lyricysm and story telling.
