I dunno about best track I ever did, but my favorite I ever made is on my solo debut with Redd Rocc Records droppin Oct./05. It's called "Out of reach". I made the beat, engineered it, and did everything step 1 all the way to pressing. Not even just that it was the first track I did all the work on, but just what I was going through in my life with my ex when I made the beat, and how I felt when I wrote it.
Prolly one of the most emotional sounding beats I ever made (if that makes sense, and if you make beats you know it can be the same as writing), let alone what I felt when I was writing it. check the beat out here: www.soundclick.com/samepageproductions - "Out of reach" 2nd to that was my "Book of love" track I made for my ex back when we were still dating. (Weird they were both made for a girl) My ex's favorite song of all time is this gay ass song by Peter Gabriel called "Book of love". Anyways - I was really feeling her, and we had just had a fight, so I wanted to make a track for her. I downloaded that song by Peter Gabriel, and in like 2 hours, I had cut up the sample, made a beat around it, wrote some of the most meaningful lyrics of my life, and recorded it. It is in no way my hottest track ever either, but just one of my favorites. And even though we ain't together anymore, it doesn't take away from what I put into that track, and how I was feelin at the time. check it out here: www.soundclick.com/phenominall - "Book of love" (near bottom) word. 1 |
