I got that from an interview done with the President of Nintendo Japan in Electronic Gaming Monthly...issues back before the DS was even realeased.

No actually they said something other than the DS...they claimed that the DS was NOT the next Game Boy...just something on the side. So basically...PSP is competing with something that isn't even a successor to the Game Boy =\...

Saying that would basically kill any sales. If I was planning to buy a DS and I heard about that, id be like fuck it.
