dope...I always questioned how people with "disabilities" cud play golf...until I saw this guy with essentially one arm drive the ball longer than other guys with 2 working arms.

WOOSA bitch.

My teacher said like, his wife would align him so the ball was infront of his club and he'd be able to take a practice swing without even touching it, and just fire it down two hundred or so yards. Once, when he was in a bunker that comes up to a normal man's shoulders, he just tapped it out three feet away from the hole. The only difference in blind rules was that in bunkers they could touch the sand or something.

O wow...I see a potential law suit here if he ever wants to play in USGA sanctioned tourneys...The rules strictly say no one, not even your caddy, can help align you when taking your shot. He could argue that it isn't "helping him", rather "leveling" the playing field since he is blind.

iono man...touchy subject

not far from Fed Ex field..................

UderFrykte 10-03-05 09:24 PM

Well, I guess you hardly are going to sit there letting a blind man swing in every direction until he tips the ball. As a side note, my teacher said with every swing the golfer would bring his club down to mark his spot.

I shud do it as an experiement...

UderFrykte 10-03-05 09:28 PM

Or just video tape you with a blindfold swinging as hard as you can in every general direction while everyone in a golf course stares at you. Imagine some golfer just going crazy in a tournament and swings until he hits.

nah...I meant I should attempt to play a round blindfolded and see what I can shoot.

UderFrykte 10-03-05 09:41 PM

That works, but is less hilarious.
