v/blackmage gkillaz, your stuff was played, not really creative, and lacked enjoyment, because basically you just try and focus on rhyming, and that's only cool in audio, text, you need to be more creative, if you try and elevate, you could be dope at punchlines, but you focus too much on basic shit, like i said, it might be better audio, but not text....blackmage, not bad, it was kinda weak, just basically poiting out obvious shit and saying it, not really personals, nothing special anyways, opener was cool, but you can still elevate, keep up, this woulda probly been cool audio too rtf on this with an explained vote please http://community.rapverse.com/showb...ad.php?t=219121 Vote disqualified for inadequate feedback. i have to say blackmage took this, his punches were nice and he did have wordplay, although some was forced and that sam adams think was pointless. but i did think his shit was funnier.... |

Honestly this wasn't as good a battle as I expected given how much shit talking I've seen from both of you voting in other threads... with that being said Gkillahz had the superior structure, resulting flow, and cadance... but he didn't throw too many hard punches... And very lil was actually directed at Mage... now Mage's opener was creative, but didn't land a punch... who cares if G is a son of sam adams? Mage didn't throw any good punches till "your no killa, you couldn't be an accessory to suicide" still when he did throw punches they were more original that Killahz... "Blackmage what a whack fag with his dopeless skill... Could pre-write for a month verse be hopeless still... I checked out his soundclick, all I found was shit.." every concept in that is played... "Its imposible for black to flow like blocked vent... Dick must be in a knot, cuz his flow is all crooked... ^ that's more played concepts *smh @ the book line* that would hit hard in an audio battle... but this is a text battle... so the punch just doesn't land... "Brains fried like an egg, I start flippin' the script... Only time you spit hard on the mic is when grippin' it..." These are all played concepts as well, with no new twists... Opener: Killahz (may be played but at least he threw a punch) Closer: Mage's last line got a lil chuckle outta me Punches: Mage (you both coulda came harder but Mage wasn't nearly as played) Personals: Mage just talked about Killah more... killahz only real personal was the Document line which coulda been thrown much harder) Structure: GKillahz Creativity: Mage (once again G's concepts were played) Enjoyment: Mage Vote: Mage Vote: Mage |

Ok this was a very tight battle but this explains my vote Flow (Structure): .......................... The flow of both was perfect, there is a bar on blackmage's verse that jus seems a lil strange but nothing outta normal Punchlines (Hits): ........................... very matched punches but by reading both verses several times I noticed that blackmage hitted him harder on more like personal punchlines, which they helped him get my vote Wordplay (vocab): ............................ GKilla had this, a better wordplay and better vocab... It seems like he been here a long time to remember Dacument (I loved that line)... or is he back?? hmmmm don't hate plz.... am jus votin |

Eh, this shit was close. G had more punches that were actually close to ok, but black was more umm, consistent. Black, you first punch was forced like a motha fucka, don't ever stretch that hard just for one hit, cuz it's never that strong anyways. The name in your sig line was pretty good though. G, you gotta flip your shit a little more when you punch. I noticed that you had concepts, but they weren't flipped well and were just kind of ......there instead of contributing to the punch. For example: Lyrical Assassin?.. nah, kid got KO'd by a DaCument... Its imposible for black to flow like blocked vent.. It's like, "Yeah, ok, he can't flow, like a blocked vent, and?".
