The statement God made to Adam is talking bout his flesh our bodies. We were made from the earth and returned back there. You can think of it as our body desinegrating over time or burial itself (like in a casket). You looking too far into it.

And the second quote you has only says that God is not pleased that they are burning their CHILDREN. That doesn't prove there is no hell.

I'll show you a quote that God talks about hell. Since you are in the old testament, I'll show you a scripture. Aight, this one is Deuteronomy 32:22... first off, God is unpleased with the way Isreal aka God's "sons and daughters" backslid. They didn't appreciate God and started worshipping other gods, and 6 other sins. You can read up on yourself.

But God was upset and he said he will not show his face to them because they made him jealous because they are serving other gods and tried to play him for a fool basically.

"For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and SHALL BURN UNTO THE LOWEST HELL, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains."

if you go a little further, he says:
"They shall be burnt with hunger, and DEVOURED WITH BURNING HEAT, and with bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of the beast upon them, with the poison of serpents of the dust." (verse 24)

btw, that's the King James Version of the Bible.

actualy there is no hell because the word hell comes from the hebrew word (she'ol)

Hell comes from a word that originally means grave? Okay your point is? Please know what you are trying to say before you go any further.

"devoured with burning heat" = consumed/destroyed with fire... I don't care how you look @ it or whether or not you choose to accept it.

The only reason I'm going out my way to REALLY, REALLY explain it is because you said you believe in God and in the Bible. If GOD SAID he would have the people of Israel CONSUMED/DESTROYED WITH FIRE (what people call today -> hell). Then what are you not getting?

In the afterlife which is considered hell/heaven depending on where you go. That's where your punishment/paradise exist. Not what you thinking of as PHYSICALLY any more as you quoted how God said our bodies return to the earth, our souls are not in our graves.

I'm not here to "prove" anything. I can only tell you what is written in the Bible since that is what you are using to make your statements. I'm trying to keep it less opinion from me and strictly Bible scriptures.

This scripture also goes with the there is a hell (according to the bible) argument from before.
