^^ we can't find the missng link because we are not sure if it actually exists. Some people do think that Austrilopithicus Aferensis is the missing link

wrong...Evolutionists don't believe we evolved from "monkies". Humans are classified as APES, which are along a different evolutionary path from monkies.

L. Veracity 03-14-06 01:46 PM

^ you're so technical lol..you know what we mean lmao...the average person refers to both in the same context Mr. Science Scholar lol

and Carmelo, yes...you are correct, therefore, I apologiZe :)

Whoa. Sorry for the inaccurate statement. :bored:

Lmao @ the missing link...

Humans didnt evolve from the apes you see in the zoo.. Humans are a different species.

What you people fail to take into account is that what we have here today is a result of natural selection. Back then there were far more different species of organisms living on the earth. Today there are less distinct types of humans and species are slowly becomming more and more related and similar due to evolution continually changing us to suit the new world that is growing closer and closer together.

The smarter and more powerful species of human like creatures are the ones that were able to survive the hundreds of thousands and even millions of years before we even started approaching what we have here today.

Just like the smarter and more powerful species of animals are the ones that still havnt become extinct over all this time.. They are able to survive because they have evolved and adapted to their surroundings, just like all living organisms...

i think the last way humans have evolved was when we startted getting rid of clubbed feet (or whatever it is) now there is that curve on the insides of our feet. the last cases i've heared of having clubbed (or cleffed) feet was in the 1940's.

Unlike all living organisms, our "evolution" can not be traced back to a single being, hence "the missing link". There's no skeleton of any being that connects us to primates, so everything else is simply speculation. evolution exits no doubt about it, but there is no evidence that we came form any primate whatsoever.

yea but its quite obvious that we came from apes what other source of animal on this earth has the same type of hands that we do and the intellegence that we have...monkeys and apes have an intellegence of a 5 year old kid the only thing that they cant do that a 5 year old can do is speak verbally but they even smart enough ta use sign language and primates are even capable of lying u might not genetically find a link but its obvious from all the signs

and that is way more accurate of a picture on what jesus would be..after all he was born in bethlehem and thats in the middle east even though its pretty much like living hell down there nowadays with all the human bombs and shit
but its just another example of some of us white people wanting to think we're above every other race :(

The only thing "obvious" is "proof". anything other than that is just theory and guesses. I could shoot holes all over and through your "theory" but no one can argue with proof. Which you don't have. Nor does modern science. Hence..."The MISSING link".

Nick Knack 03-14-06 04:02 PM

why doez it even matter how we came to be, why dont we just worry bout the future?

Humans are classified as primates. But, the explanation evolutionists give as to our origins is still largely speculation. Again, humans didn't evolve from monkies, but are considered apes--scientifically speaking.

I'll explain here again. The current theory suggests:

Modern humans and Chimps WERE THE SAME animal millions of years ago. This animal would have been an ape-like creature. Some geological catastrophe created a land rift, forcing some of the animals to live on barren land, while others lived on fertile land, complete with trees. The animals that lived on the barren land evolved into humans, while the animals on the land with trees evolved into chimps.

Humans had to evolve the ability to walk upright to survive on the tree-less landscape. It helped them see predators and hunt over the horizon.
