^^I put money on it 50's not on that list, not 3rd, second or 1st.

If it were based on Sales, 50 would be kicking either pac, jay, or bigge out of that list, and we all know that ain't happening.

With a low-selling artist like Rakim as 4th, anything's possible.

50 cent has not sold more records than tupac or biggie or jayz

Word, the list isn't that bad.

10. LL
9. Em
8. Ice Cube
7. Big Daddy Kane
6. KRS 1
5. Nas
4. Rakim

Not that bad of a list in my opinion.

well lets see, GRODT broke the record for most albums sold in a single week, then released The Massacre and still sold 1.1 mil in the first week.

What other rapper did that back to back EVER?

This still isn't counting all the record G-Unit as a whole sold.

cmon man, you gotta pay this man his respects, hate it or love it ;)

who's talkin about gross sales? I'm talking about initial sales. What other rapper beat his? nobody. He set the record, then broke it with the next release.

that = never happened in hip hop ever.

People have differnet thoughts.

Mainstream

LLcooj > Pun.

Who effected hiphop more?

LLcoolJ hands down. Pun was just a lyricst who's fav came when he died.

besides, this is a commercial source
you can't take what they say as the Hip Hop gospel

Didnt LL battle canibus and win? He was on the same level as him, or almost on the same level as him.

L. Veracity 04-12-06 11:19 AM

LL Cool J can beat whoever he wants to in a battle but does he come with hard lyricism on his CDs when someone's NOT trash talking him like Cannibus was? I highly doubt it...LL is not lyrically consistent

therefore he's a rapper, not a lyricist...just My opinion
