I'm not even in this league anymore but...

... I still think that you should keep it the way it is. It has not had problems, it has been a successful league. A lot of people have been saying already it is better than PRBA, RBL, LLL and shit like that. It is probably one of the most competitive leagues going at the moment.

And so you don't really need to compete with LLL in a seasonal mode... if anything, you would be copying them and that is it. That is how most would see it and it would bring on another RV wants to be like RB type of shit. Also, a seasonal league doesn't run as well as the way this one is on this site.

Case in point, the old PLL. At first it was run in a season mode, and it was ok with some ups and downs. Then Mimesis switched it to a format like this one and it got more popular.

Season Mode - Averaged about 40 battlers.
Weekly Mode - Averaged about 60 battlers.

Weekly gives people who dont even battle on this site coz of the bullshit voting a good reason to come in every week. this league as it is, is really helping to site come back to life more than anything else its done. And if you try to fix something that isn't broken, your just gonna end up with something broken to try and fix. That line is trade mark'd.

Some good points in that post.....here's an idea, maybe instead of having "playoffs", maybe KORV type tournaments can just be run more frequently, say, every 3-4 months. These could run simultaneous to this league so people could choose which one they want to be in, or both, and this league wouldn't need to make the tradeoffs of season vs. continuous. After all, the only point of seasons is to have playoffs afterwards so we could just skip to that part.
