A line is one dimensional, so if it has dimension in any way it has to exist. Assuming everybody finds the 1 dimensional thing axiomatic. Whether it comes to a halt is the real question. It has dimension because its mass is relative to the sheet of paper its drawn on. Even without the paper, the graphite gives the line its dimension.
