P.S I heard that from FHM magazine.. which depicts the first scene as a guy with chains through his bones. If he doesnt make it to the door in time, a bomb goes off that pulls the chains, ripping his body apart limb by limb. Another thing they do is a crucifix.. They have some attached to a cross that rotates at the arm and head one degree every second - meaning in exactly 3 minutes, their arms and head would be facing the opposite direction from their legs and torso..

However I agree that SAW 1 made you use your brain way more, but the twists and how everything played out in SAW 2 were sweet too, I wouldnt say retardo mode tho...it was a much better concept rather than having 2 ppl in the room the whole time.

i hear that, i duno mayne, saw 2 just had mad pointless and unrealistic reactions to shit like dude cutting the flap of skin off the back of his neck instead of just...lookin in ANY of the mirrors that he ran past - liek the doublesided mirror they broke in the first one lmao - and shinin it off the same piece he cut his neck with lmao i was like "wow, why am i still watchin this?"

the clues too were dumb simple like anyone with an IQ above 4 would be like "the answer is where? okay..somebody check the back of my head" and somebody woulda def found them fuckin numbers man lmao.

they just ran with the typical formula for a horror sequal, dumb it down, make it flashy, target it for dumbasses, print lunchboxes.

SAW 3 however, looks like it's gonna be illy. looks liek they ran with the formula from the first one :thumbup:

saw 2 had so much potential at the start tho, but now that i think about it, it wasnt really all that great, still dope tho just cause its saw.

Saw 2 fuckin' sucked compared to the original. Saw 1 was alright, entertaining, but nothing special. The movie Sev7en is 100 times better and basically where they got the idea for Saw..

I found Saw 2 more entertaining than Saw 1. More gore...more twists...just better overall...Plus, the critics agree.

Movie was too easy, anybody who didn't figure that shit out can't say Saw 2 was better than Saw 1.

Horror movies can be broken down into 3 components:

1. Reflex Factor
2. Reality Factor
3. Blood/gore factor

^Depending on the individual, those variables are weighted in a particular order. For me, 2>3>1

So, I love horror movies with a high degree of reality factor, which, incidentally, is what I feel makes a movie truly "scary". But, then after that, I love blood and gore. So, for me, I found Saw 2 entertaining because of it's creativity in how the people were killed, as well as the eeriness of being kidnapped and locked up somewhere.
