Brother Ali is for people who like good emcee skills. Maybe you'd like him if all he did was talk about how gangster/pimp/hard etc he was. Sadly, that's not what hip-hop is about. kthnxbye |
Left out DC baby
Tha Q and Lupe Fiasco! BEOTCH! |

Ok, so what is hip hop then? |

You're obviously sleepin on Ray Cash. and the thread is "your favorite" meaning "my favorite" Dont tell me who should be my favorite. |

Do I look like I have the definitive answer to that question? No. I know what ISN'T hip-hop though, and it includes faux gangsters making 500 tracks about how gangster they are and talking about how much money they have way before they have it and in most cases never will. K? k. |
You dont know what Hip Hop is but you know what it isnt?
Stfu, stop trying to seem like a guru, faggot. |
Oh my bad Zone, I misread first post, I thought this was a dispute thread about the best from each city.
Anyways, nah I ain't sleeping on Ray-Cash, I got his new album, but I mean if you ask anybody who you know from Cleveland...they're going to say Bone Thugs N Harmony. They are one of the most profound groups to ever drop lyrically. I mean there are plenty of 50 Cents, Ray-Cash's, Dipsets, and shit like that.. But only once in a great time do you find sucha good collaboration like Bone Thugs N Harmony, or emcees like Nas, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Rakim, Tech N9ne, Canibus, etc... |
