How ignorant.
Since when does someone have to rap to know their music?
I don't rap.
I only write.

thats what were saying

that Kanye, Common, Talib, Mos Def, none of them are underground. They are concious rappers, but are known by the average person. All of them have been on MTV.
Get your ass out of here, go slice a wrist or something

i honestly don't understand what you guys are trying to say?

yes Kayne, Common, Mos Def are mainstream. what point are you trying to get across?

everyone starts underground.

Youre an idiot
Its all about the industry. They dont want a real rapper on the airwaves, people would realize how bad the jim jones, young jocs, really are compared to a rapper like Tonedeff, or alot of other underground rappers..(Im not a huge underground fan either, but the good rappers that do make it, get fucked i.e rhymefest)

The industry doesnt want you to know, and you're the next generation, its pretty scary what the media did to you.. Makin kids who would otherwise be geeks into what they made you believe is a "thug". Just look at the recent white rapper show episode.

SerB 02-17-07 11:19 PM

hahahahahaha

ur so funny man

they aint hiding shit or keeping nothing away.

iono why your even comparing them to jim Jones and yung Joc.. thats a total different style of song making. their more club bangers.

but no industry is hiding the underground or shit.. its the fans that make underground to mainstream.

okay eminem was underground for sooo many years.. untill he started to make better music and the fans made him mainstream.

obviously if ur underground and under no label then most likely industry might play a factor.

You dont understand how much money goes into this industry I guess.

They wont risk 100 rappers careers, and there money, to get a rapper like immortal technique on the radio. Because that would 1. Go against everything else on the radio. 2. Ruin alot of rappers careers. 3. Cost them money if only one rapper on there label goes gold.

Theres no time to be real to hip hop in a industry where sales have gone down so much.

Btw, immortal technique is a huge underground rapper, 1 of 5 people at least, know who he is in my school.

Heychoo 02-18-07 02:40 PM

im not reading this bullshit. after i saw mimesis try to say something about kanye likes he's actually intellectual or something, yeah. . . that kind of killed it.

basically, WHO GIVE A FUCK WHAT YOU LISTEN TO?
