I have a Mac and PC. I use the PC more cuz it's just better. Then again I put quite a few bucks under the hood to make it this way. I don't know how to with the Mac so I gave it to my mom. Yeah boy.

man i used to be a PC user. "Mr Windows" to my family, into em deeper than the average. then my brother put me on to macs and i haven't wanted to go back since. windows been copying mac for so long that the two systems are hella similar anyway, from a usability standpoint. its like trading your ford escort for a bmw, shits are similar, but different in all the ways that matter

Ltizzle 03-07-07 12:38 AM

My family has never owned a PC, I grew up on Macs.
With that said I'm most definetly a bit bias. I'll also admit, I cant use a PC for my life.

However, I've never met anyone who switched over to a Mac and didnt like it.

Vista>Tiger

Ive used both for prolonged periods of time, yes if you want to use vista to its full potential, itll cost a lil more, but regardless it shits on tiger, i cant say anything about leapard cuz i havent used it yet, but from what i saw on apples website, vistas gonna shit on leapard 2, people are hyping up the "time machine" when all it is is system restore from windows, macs have great graphics, now so does windows, macs have great sound, now so does windows, mac has widgets, vista has gadgets, i know microsoft stole alotta shit, but u gotta do wat u gotta do 2 stay on top, Vista has everything mac has and more, and if your not happy with it, then you can even install a mac partition on your Vista computer with something like Virtual PC, im sorry but you cant name ONE thing that mac does better than microsoft, also if your not a dumbass who downloads alot of spyware then you wont have to worry about your computer getting a virus,

my ass, if you have a good sound card + Windows Vista windows shits on mac

∆ P E X X 03-07-07 12:35 PM

^nope. unix is the shit though, i give credit where credit is due. too bad they can't package their shit in a user friendly interface.

i shouldn't have to learn command line computer programming code to execute tasks and functions man. but if i werent' using a mac, i'd be using lynux, cuz hell, you gotta know computer programming code just to fix your windows when it breaks down anyway! lmao

-TeamOne- 03-07-07 12:41 PM

come on you know thats bullshit...macs are so much more straight forward to use than pcs for music...look at logic for example (lets put aside the fact that logic was forced onto the mac platform by the deal emagic made.) tell me logic on the pc feels better to use than logic on the mac....also reason is better on the mac as well...and macs can run cubase 4 as well. if mac could run wavelab as well then it would be untouchable.

to be honest the only reason i don't have my own mac in my home setup is because it would cost me over £1200 to buy one that is equal to my pc in specs
