It really all depends on what you want to do with it. It can help you if you really can't sing but overall the only effect you're going to get out of it is the t-pain effect. There are other programs that fix the harmonizing of your vocals. I mean I guess it could work but you have to know what chords you're singing. It's an easy process but I mostly use it for the t-pain effect.

You have to spend money to make money. simple and plain, quit being cheap if you want to learn something. The best things in life aren't free. You obviously don't take music serious if you're not trying to at least pay a small fee to learn essentials to making hit music.

um. you dont really need to do it for a price.
just search youtube for the settings.

or just fuck wit it. til you harmonize yourself. shit.

J.Roy 01-24-08 04:14 PM

^^So far all the people that i've heard using is on this site have sucked at using it. Don't just do those settings because someone else said they worked. Do it yourself and you may find something that sounds 20 times better. You're limiting yourself to someone elses words. If you want something you have to go and get it.

^true words

Young Kidd (LM) 01-24-08 04:28 PM

lol past.
when i use it.
i just set it to what i found works wit my voice.
im saying if they want that preset
its up. but i played wit it until i hit what i wanted.

so i kinda agree wit ya lol. im just saying. if you aint gonna do it seriously. then no reason paying.

I haven't really met to many serious artists on this site. I'm in school learning all about this industry, I'm getting really deep into this. Being an artist really isn't even worth it today, that's not where the moneys at.

WhoAmI 01-24-08 05:36 PM

yeh for real

but as for the rest of what you said don't forget for a second that you're a student in this as in you're learning like the rest of us, just in case you decide in future to put yourself on a pedestal. in addition not all serious artists are going to choose to discuss their plans with relatively useless contacts

so make no assumptions
