oh, and just as a side note so that my comments don't get misinterpreted, i am NOT criticizing soldiers whatsoever. i have the upmost respect for every singe individual who risks their lives everyday so that i can go to college and pursue my own dreams. what i am criticizing is our country's leaders and their motives in going to war, and the mainstream American view of the war.

that was purposly a limited perspective. its too many factors to fit on this site. i was basically trying to state that anyone could die anyday at anytime. theres really no higher chance of dying just from being in Iraq. now yes there may be more of a likely hood. but the fact that he may die isnt a valid reason not to join the army when he may die in the next minute if he doesnt.
